BWise Manufacturing, LLC is a manufacturer of Dump, Equipment, Tilt, Landscape, Utility and Car trailers as well as Pick-Up Dump Inserts. We manufacture two brand names, BWise Trailers and Bri-Mar Trailers. We are located in Chambersburg, PA with approximatesly 100 employees and a 315,000 sq. ft. production facility. CURRENT OPENING Welder ESSENTIAL DUTIES &RESPONSIBILITIES • Actively observe and promote BWise safety standards • Analyze drawings and specifications to plan layout, assembly, and welding operation. • Lay out, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies according to specifications, using a variety of measuring tools. • Tack-weld or welds component and assemblies using welding equipment. • Monitor welding processes to avoid overheating of parts or warping, shrinking, distortion, or expansion of material. • Detect faulty operation of equipment or defective materials and notify supervisor. • Evaluate weld quality and conformance to specifications. • Inspect grooves, angles, or gap allowances using appropriate measuring instruments. • Remove rough spots from work pieces, using portable grinder or hand file. • Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions. • Ignite torch and adjusts valves, amperage, or voltage to obtain desired flame or arc. • Other duties, as assigned by Trailer Welding Supervisor.

JOB MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • Ability to read and fully comprehend work instructions, prints, and work specifications. • Ability of count, read, and write numbers and use common vocabulary; ability to read warning signs; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; ability to demonstrate full range of motion for reaching, bending, and stooping. • Must have appropriate high school, vocational-technology school, or trade school training/certification in welding and/or demonstrated ability/expertise from on-the-job training from previous employment • Understand fundamentals of metallurgy as they relate to welding
CURRENT OPENING Wash Bay and Trailer Prep JOB SUMMARY: Power wash trailers and trailer components so base coat will adhere to trailer and component surfaces.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Actively observe and promote BWise safety standards • Scotch-brite or sand component edges • Pull trailer from post-welding staging area into Wash bay. • Hang proper parts with the correct trailer. • Spin and rotate trailers to thoroughly wash trailer surfaces. • Power wash trailer and trailer components using spray gun. • Dry trailer and components with blow gun. • Caulk trailer seams. • Move trailer to prime booth. • Other duties, as assigned by Lead Person or Production Manager.
UNUSUAL WORKING CONDITIONS Employee will be using Power Lift and phosphate, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment, to wash trailers and components.
